Honor has launched a new X70 smartphone edition with Sunrise Golden color. The new variant not only debuts with a different aesthetic color option but also brings significant software changes. Let’s check these enhancements in detail.
X70 smartphone debuted last year in July. The device gained popularity for its massive 8300mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging. Now the company has unveiled a new “Refresh Edition” for Honor X70 with more prominent changes.
The first and foremost change is the color option. The original variant has four beautiful shades – Vermillion Red, Bamboo Green, Moonlight White, and Phantom Black.
Although the Honor X70 Refresh Edition comes in a shiny Sunrise Gold color. It has a matte finish with a rococo pattern + round camera bump, giving a classy feel.
Besides the color, the Honor X70 Refresh Edition comes with MagicOS 10 out of the box. For comparison, the standard model landed on the surface with Android 15-based MagicOS 9 software system. However, the OEM has upgraded the build for the new model.
That means, users will get new AI features, smarter capabilities and more enhancements over the original version. The rest of the key specs and functions are the same as the original variants.
Honor X70 Refresh variant features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 2640 x 1200 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 6000 nits peak brightness. The device uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM + 256GB/512GB.
For the camera, the phone sports a 50MP f/1.8 single main camera with OIS on the back. The front side has an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. Battery is the same as the original variant – 8300mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging.
