Huawei AI Smart Glasses are catching fire in the leak section and the new input reveals the durability revolution of this product. At the same time, the information also sheds light on the number of new Eyewear units the company is preparing for consumers.
According to the details, the new Huawei AI Glasses will adopt Huayan materials to craft the hinge module. A subsidiary of Yutong Technology will deliver these components to Huawei, ensuring high-end durability of the new AI smart glasses.
The previous-gen Eyewear model used durable titanium to craft frames of the glasses, giving a retro and versatile round design. It went through 33 meticulously crafted processes.
Meanwhile, the company used a high-density metal to make the C-shaped hinge design, implementing greater flexibility in it. Huawei integrated over 140 precision components, making them more durable than ordinary glasses.
In the current scenario, the company is using a new hinge solution for its AI smart glasses to further improve the durability aspect. Additionally, it will debut with a non-generic design customized to fulfill Huawei Glasses users’ specific needs.

Although these components are under wraps at present, the OEM will remove the mist from them at the official launch.
Shipment Target
Besides the new hinge tech solution, the new report suggests the expected shipment units of the upcoming AI Glasses. Huawei is reportedly preparing around 400,000 to 500,000 units of the new eye wearable at present.
The Chinese tech giant owns a significant market share in the AI Glasses category. On the greener side, the company is claiming to bring more improved Eyewear this time. It would be interesting to see whether the upcoming product sees a strong demand in the market.
