A week ago, Huawei released HarmonyOS 6 API version 22, and the Enjoy 70X will be the first phone to support this new software advancement.
A Weibo tipster has shared some details on this regard that the Enjoy 70X will be the first model to test HarmonyOS 6 with API 22 through public beta testing. The tipster accompanied this information with a screenshot, showing the build version 6.20.0.125.
It’s revealed that the HarmonyOS 6 beta update for the Enjoy 70X smartphone has been upgraded to the Huawei Beta version, which means that the phone is one step closer to the public beta of the HarmonyOS 6 update. However, an official rollout is yet to start.
Launched in November last year, the Huawei Enjoy 70X weighs 180 grams. Its screen measures 6.78 inches with an AMOLED panel and features a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and touch response of 300Hz.
The phone has a Kirin 8000 chip integrated with an octa-core architecture. It runs HarmonyOS 4.2 software system and two storage versions: 256GB and 512GB. The Enjoy 70X packs a large 6100mAh battery with 40W superfast charging. The capacity could last over 1 day of battery life for video playback.
