Huawei Global has shared another teaser for the Mate 80 Pro, and this time the highlight is the camera! Following design details, the company is now revealing what “true upgrades” it has made to the imaging system of the flagship phone.
Based on the new camera teaser, it seems the global Huawei Mate 80 Pro variant won’t differ much from the Chinese model – at least in terms of the camera system.
The video teaser hypes the second-generation multispectral sensor, which is now combined with a super-focusing main camera, a super-focusing macro telephoto snapper, and an ultrawide-angle shooter.
Unlike the previous-gen sensor, the upgraded lens is capable not only of enhancing your photos with rich colors but also make your videos appear more realistic.
It captures both bright and dark scenarios, showing great potential at both near and far distant shots. Besides, the all-new ninth-generation ISP significantly improves data processing and video noise reduction traits.
Huawei says:
“See it as it is with the #HUAWEIMate80Pro. The True-to-Color camera system delivers consistent and accurate color in every shot.”
Further, the video shows a bunch of images captured with the Mate 80 Pro. Whether it’s a night shot or daylight snap, a close-up pose or a far-sitting person, all images are super-clear and color-rich, without any blur or bad effect.

Huawei hasn’t revealed the camera parameters of the Mate 80 Pro global smartphone. But there is a high chance that it has the same specs as the Chinese variant.
What might change is the battery capacity and the omission of satellite features. Some netizens have shown excitement for the new Kirin chips. Though it would be worth seeing if the company continues to use the same powerful 9030 Pro or alters the things due to the US restrictions.
