Huawei today officially announced its first HarmonyOS Enterprise PC – the Qingyun HM740, which will debut on December 11. After many consumer-based computers, the company is bringing a dynamic computer for the enterprise world.
The Chinese tech giant shared the news this morning, confirming the new Huawei Qingyun HM740 PC for a December 11 launch. It has dropped a big poster on its official Weibo page, revealing the first-ever look at the iconic commercial PC.
In addition, the caption reads:
“#HarmonyOSComputerEnterpriseEdition# Coming! On December 11, you are invited to pay attention to the HarmonyOS office Industry Summit #Huawei Qingyun HM740# Upcoming release, so stay tuned!”
During the Huawei HarmonyOS Office New Product Technology Event, the company showcased the device for the first time. It will be the first and all-new Enterprise PC running on HarmonyOS 6 and offer a dynamic user experience.

Besides, the PC is capable of achieving full-chain independent control from chip to system, delivering improved, seamless performance boosts for heavy tasks.
At the same time, it has a robust security architecture to ensure safety across all aspects of the government and enterprise sectors. Being a commercial PC, the HM740 has some powerful AI models that will look after the following things:
- Financial Risk Control
- Document Analysis
- Data Processing Security
The PC will further enable users to swap between the enterprise and their personal mode with zero delay – thanks to the four-finger swipe gesture. The former will ensure encryption of your office data, while the latter will manage social activities.
The device is said to have a 2.8K screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and super-narrow bezels. It supports USB 3.2, HDMI port, Type-C port, RJ45 Ethernet, and a super privacy button. The PC also packs a 70Wh cell with 20 hours of battery life.
Let’s see what else we will discover in this new PC at the official launch event.
