A business Huawei PC – HM740 has received the OpenHarmony 6.0.0.1 Release certificate, claiming the HarmonyOS 6.0.0.130 software update. What’s even more interesting about this news is that the laptop is getting some exciting features.
Huawei unveiled the HM740 HarmonyOS PC last year with 21 hours of battery life and a Kirin X90 chip. It is basically an enterprise-focused PC and brings various interesting productivity tools to enhance the office experience for consumers.
In the latest edition, Huawei has certified the HM740 PC with the latest OpenHarmony 6.0.0.1 Release certificate. This makes the device eligible for the HarmonyOS 6.0.0.130 software update.

Note that the major responsibility of the OpenHarmony certification is to verify devices and check if they meet specific technical standards. It also looks after interoperability of the device and unlocks access to a rapidly growing ecosystem.
So far, Huawei has certified many devices with the newest OpenHarmony versions. And in the current scenario, it has listed the enterprise-based notebook on the database.
As per the certificate, the device is receiving the new firmware with fresh enhancements. It will get access to various features. For instance, the HM740 PC users will be able to access independent settings for the device’s sleep time and app lock features.
