Huawei introduced the MatePad Edge 2-in-1 tablet in November with the Mate 80 flagship and today, this device is getting a new edition – Liquid Cooling. The company has launched the fresh edition and opened it for sale on VMall.
The Huawei MatePad Edge Liquid Cooling Edition has a dynamic RAM and storage option over the original variant. It boosts the overall task fluency of the tablet and ensures better functioning of the device in every aspect.
Speaking of the Micro-Pump Liquid Cooling tech, it has a built-in special material called piezoelectric and phase-change materials. These parts can actively absorb and dissipate heat from the device and auto-activate during heavy use.
At the same time, this technology is capable of preventing throttling and drawing power wirelessly from the device with real-time cooling effects in overheating.
Official inputs reveal that the Huawei MatePad Edge Liquid Cooling is the first tablet variant to use a 0.335mm ultra-thin micro-pump liquid cooling film. It is further combined with a dual VC heat dissipation plate + dual diamond aluminum fan.
Besides, it carries a 32GB RAM + 2TB storage option. This particular new 2-in-1 HarmonyOS tablet edition is available for 12999 yuan at the online VMall store.

The rest of the features are the same as the original variant. The device has a Kirin X90 chipset to manage all operations efficiently. It has a 14.2-inch OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1000 nits peak brightness.
It also has the special switch mode gesture where you can jump from the Tablet Mode to PC Mode with a simple four-finger movement on the tablet’s screen.
