Huawei is apparently working on a foldable tablet and will likely launch it in 2026. The company was in rumors to unveil a large-screen fold device since last year. Though it seems the new creation will finally become a big reality in the coming months.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus revealed the launch timeline of the Pura X2. It is reportedly delayed by an entire quarter this time due to certain sales or release strategies.
At the same time, the tipster mentioned a new Huawei foldable tablet that may debut in 2026. Even though the leak doesn’t describe any parameters or features of this device, it hints that the product is in the pipeline.

Besides these fold models, the company was rumored to launch a foldable tablet. Though following other flagships and software rollouts, Huawei might have shifted its release to another year with even better features and upgrades.
Speaking of the foldable tablet, it could feature a Kirin 9020 5G chip (as per previous tablet launches and specs details). Meanwhile, there could be changes related to software, battery, and most importantly, the display panel.
Neither Huawei nor the tipster has revealed any details on the rumored foldable tablet yet. Since the news comes from a credible source, we can expect to finally see this creation in 2026. Let’s wait for an official input on this subject.
