Huawei Mate 70 Air 16GB RAM variant is now available for its first sale. After a one-month wait, the company has finally opened the specific RAM version for public purchase. It has a new chipset and better performance than a 12GB model.
Mate 70 Air debuted on 26 November. The device came into existence as Huawei’s ultra-thin phone to date and started making a buzz ahead of its official unveiling.
The device has come in two RAM variants: 12GB and 16GB. While the company opened the former model within a few days of the launch event, it saved the latter, probably as a Christmas present for its consumers.
As for now, the Huawei Mate 70 Air 16GB RAM variant featuring Kirin 9020A has entered the sale lane. The particular model is available in two storage versions.
Price:
- 16GB + 256GB = 4699 yuan
- 16GB + 512GB = 5199 yuan
Both variants are now open for the selling purpose activity on VMall. One can visit the official channel to buy the new device variant and explore some additional discounts with the Chinese subsidy strategy.
Kirin 9020A is another highlight of the 16GB Mate 70 Air model. Unlike the 12GB RAM options that equip a 9020B chip, the currently available phone has a superior chipset that delivers higher performance and more efficient experience.
Apart from these two changes, the rest of the features and key specs of the 16GB variant are the same as the 12GB RAM model. It brings a 7-inch OLED screen with FHD+ (2760 x 1320) resolution and 4000 nits peak brightness.
The device has a 6.6mm thickness – becoming the thinnest Huawei phone in history, and features a 6500mAh battery pack. It has a quad-camera set with a 50MP ultra-sensitive large-sensor + 12MP RYYB telephoto lens + 8MP ultrawide-angle shooter, and a 1.5MP multispectral sensor.
It also has a 10.7MP ultrawide front-facing snapper for selfie purposes and ensures perfect shots even in dim lights.
