Huawei Mate 80 leak reveals enough stock to meet market demands

Huawei Mate 80 series sales will officially begin tomorrow and it looks like the company has enough stock of this flagship to meet the consumer market demands. A new piece of information reveals the exact volume of the 2025 Mate smartphones.

Weibo tipster @SuperDimensional said that Huawei has prepared around 9 million units of the Mate 80 smartphones, calling it “ample stock” for the time being.

The lineup didn’t exceed the 9 million mark as the company is waiting for the response to the new handsets in the market. Although it may increase this volume in the future.

Further, the tipster stated that the first batch of the stock this time is nearly 300,000 units. Some netizens said that the figure only reflects the standard Mate 80 volume, and there could be even more units for other top-end handsets.

Other netizens added that 9 million units aren’t enough. The first batch with 300,000 units will be sold out in seconds. Perhaps the stock is conservative, or the news is fake, and the company might have more quantity in inventory than the leaked details.

Mate 60 and Mate 70 have seen the “sold out” moment at their first sale. While the former faced a shipment extension, Huawei somehow managed to prevent such a situation with the latter flagship models. And this situation may improve to a greater extent this time.

How far the current information is true and accurate will be known on 28 November (tomorrow). The company will open the Mate 80 phones for their first sale on VMall and offline stores. Within a few minutes, the results will be in front of us.
