Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition has stepped into the pre-order shelves, showing its color and storage options. Interestingly, the device is seeing a strong demand and went out of stock in just a few seconds after it opened for the reservation.
Starting with colors, the Huawei Mate 80 Wind Edition has two shades: Polar Gold and Midnight Black – just like the original Pro Max variant. Both colorways give a premium vibe, following the same dual-ring design on the glossy back panel.
Apart from color options, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition has two storage variants: 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB. One can head towards VMall and pick any of these versions, based on their preference and storage requirements.
Notably, Huawei opened the pre-order gates for the new Wind Edition at 12:08 (Beijing Time), and within a few seconds, the flagship smartphone went out of stock.

Being the company’s first cooling fan technology-equipped device, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max WIND EDITION is showing great demand among consumers.
Even though Huawei didn’t reveal any internal parameters of the newly showcased phone, inputs suggest that it will be the most-aggressively performance-driven handset in Huawei’s history – all thanks to its cooling fan technology.
Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition has an active fan inside the lens module that helps the device to easily eliminate heat. Besides, the precise air inlets and outlets around the camera module allow the phone to expel the heat in real-time.
Other features of the new Wind Chaser Edition are still a big secret for the time being. Though the curtain will fall from these specifications next week. Stay tuned.
