Huawei Mate 80 series is officially open for sale in China, and Huawei Stores across the country are seeing vast interest from customers, including celebrities.
Many of these store visitors have noticed famous celebrities checking the Mate 80 series on site. Some of these known faces are Chinese actress Ying Er, Olympic swimming winner Sun Yang, and TV host Dai Jun.
Huawei is selling this flagship through its online and offline sales channels. The stores opened the week with long queues, while online stock flushed out within a few minutes.

The Mate 80 series comes in four models – Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design.
The standard and Pro versions offer four colors: Obsidian Black, Snow White, Dawn Gold, and Spruce Green. The Mate 80 Pro Max also comes in four colors: Midnight Black, Polar Silver, Polar Gold, and Aurora Blue. The Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design is available in three colors: Hibiscus Purple, Obsidian Black, and Pure White.

The Mate 80 equips a Kirin 9020 chip, the Mate 80 Pro’s 12GB version brings a 9030 chip, and its 16GB version offers Kirin 9030 Pro. The Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design only has Kirin 9030 Pro.
The three main lineup phones come with a unique dual-ring design, and the top-of-the-line Mate 80 Pro Max offers an all-metal basalt body. It improves the overall bending resistance by 20 times over aluminum.
The phone is IP68 rated for 6-meter water resistance and IP69 rated for high-temperature and high-pressure resistance. The Pro Max features the brightest display ever, measuring up to 8000 nits, ensuring clear images under direct sunlight. These phones offer 5A speed for smoother live streaming and MMO gaming.
Furthermore, the XMAGE imaging system has been upgraded once again to provide an unprecedented camera experience with a large main camera sensor and physical variable aperture. The camera system also includes the dual-periscope zoom setup, the first of its kind.
These phones have the largest 6000mAh battery capacity, which could recharge quickly enough with a 100W superfast charger and 80W wireless charging.
