Nova 15 series would succeed the Nova 14 as Huawei seems to have major plans to launch the next-gen sub-flagships with compelling front-facing camera upgrades. The company is prepping a handful of changes for the new models, including a special selfie snapper.
Huawei Nova 14 phones debuted with a 50MP ultra-focusing portrait lens (F/2.0 aperture) + an 8MP close-up shooter with 5x zoom capability. Over the years, the company has upgraded this segment with notable changes and improvements.
For instance, the Nova 14 Ultra has a front-mounted oversized sensor with a 1/2.5-inch format that increases the light intake by 89.6% over the Nova 13 handsets.
The front-facing snapper allows the phone to capture rich details even in low light and results in 3D + deep portraits. One can get their best shots using AI photo-editing tools like Best Expressions, Cloud Enhancement, and more.
Now, SmartPikachu says that Huawei is once again focusing on the front camera upgrade for the Nova 15 series. The imaging sensors might vary based on the models, as the vanilla version still doesn’t carry the extra close-up shooter.
