Huawei Nova 15 Ultra will likely be the most robust member of the next-gen Nova lineup and it could surprise consumers with its overclocked chip and camera setup. Apart from these segments, there can be more striking features to look forward.
Weibo tipster @GuoJing revealed the chip and camera details about the Huawei Nova 15 Ultra. Unlike the standard and Pro models, the top-end smartphone will likely carry an overclocked Kirin 9010S.
Nova 15 and Pro smartphones can debut with the Kirin 8020 5G chipset. But the Nova 15 Ultra device could feature an improved version of the 9010S processor.
Kirin 9010S SoC launched with the standard Pura 80 smartphone. It can easily outshine the Pura 70 phone in terms of performance boost and operation fluency.
- Kirin 9010S: 2 cores x 2.5GHz + 6 cores x 2.05GHz + 4 cores x 1.50GHz
It is worth mentioning that Kirin chips ending with an S at the end are major upgrades. The best example in this case is the Kirin 9000S and now we’ve the 9010S.

Apart from the chip, the tipster added that Huawei will likely use a big and surprising camera system for the Nova 15 Ultra. Even though the leak doesn’t reveal the imaging parameters of the device, it could be more enhanced than the Nova 14 Ultra.
Regarding the release of the Huawei Nova 15 series, neither the company nor the leaker stated anything about it. However, some flying rumors have noted that the OEM could launch this ultimate flagship by the end of this month.
Apart from the chip, camera, and launch timeline, the Nova 15 can bring surprises in the screen and battery technology. Huawei is enhancing its cell-pack for devices day by day, and we may find this change in the Nova 15 as well.
