Huawei Nova 16 Ultra will unlock more blockbuster upgrades over the previous-generation models, and one such segment will be battery. A new piece of information is here, sharing the key specs of the upcoming sub-flagship smartphone.
DigitalChatStation has now shared the display, chip, and battery details of the Huawei Nova 16 Ultra. Among all of the information, the highlight is the cell pack.
It looks like the first smartphone in the Huawei family to get a 7000mAh battery will be the Nova 16 Ultra. The OEM has been testing the new cell for quite some time. And the evaluation has seemingly proved a success for the company.
According to the latest leak, the Nova 16 Ultra display can measure 6.84 inches with LTPO OLED technology. It will continue to adopt a Kirin 9 series processor.
But for the battery, it may go for a 7000mAh capacity. Now that’s a true upgrade compared to the previous-generation handset, which relies on a 6500mAh pack.

Speaking of the camera, the tipster mentioned that Huawei is testing a new super-large bottom main snapper. This is a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.3-inch format. Meanwhile, it may retain the same periscope and multispectral lenses as Nova 15 Ultra.
The leak suggests that Huawei is focusing on two major aspects with the Nova 16 series: Battery and Main Camera. Bigger batteries ensure durability in performance when doing intense operations like playing games, watching videos, and more.
On the other hand, the company will optimize the main camera with a new sensor. As a result, the Nova 16 Ultra can deliver improved and higher-quality images + video recording.
Huawei Nova 16 series is in the news to launch in the second quarter of this year. By that time, we may come across more shifts in the imaging and battery segment of the device. Hence, let’s wait for more details about the Ultra handset.
