Huawei has recently shared its EMUI/HarmonyOS March 2026 security update details, patching over 30 hidden risks. While the company is swiftly expanding its Feb 2026 rollout, it has prepared a new security patch for millions of users worldwide.
March 2026 security update for Huawei EMUI and HarmonyOS devices patches a total of 33 hidden privacy exploits, including CVEs, and third-party library defects.
The company has fixed 1 critical, 6 high, and 12 medium-level privacy exploits, affecting mainly HarmonyOS 6 and 5.1 versions. Most of these were related to the email, printing, and security management modules.
On the other hand, Huawei has addressed 1 critical, 10 high, and 5 medium defects in the third-party library segment. You can check all the new fixes and the vulnerabilities below.
Huawei will soon start rolling out the new security patch to its eligible devices. For now, the company focuses on expanding HarmonyOS 6.0 for its wearables. Devices like the Watch GT 5 Pro, Watch 5, and Watch FIT 4 series have already received it.
Though it would be interesting to see when the tech giant will bring this ultimate software upgrade to its global tablet users.
