As we are moving ahead in April, Huawei Pura 90 series leaks continue to accelerate, and the latest one has new “realistic-like” renders, showing big design shifts for the upcoming flagship. But whether this look will be an official one or a fake is unclear.
New renders of the Huawei Pura 90 series leaked online, highlighting the same camera module we have seen in an early image. These renders are now circling on the Chinese microblogging site – Weibo, and seem very realistic, as if it’s the original design.
Two things are eye-catching in the new renders. First is the camera bump on the back. Second is the color options the Pura 90 smartphones can bring to the table.
Weibo tipster @SuperDimensional has shown the Pura 90 model in six colors, including Black, White, Pink, Cyan Green, Red, and Gold. Instead of a gradient look, the phones carry a glossy back panel that glows when light falls on it.
Huawei Pura 90 series has been in the rumors for using a P20-inspired rear panel – full of different color gradients. But the newly leaked renders say otherwise.
Another highlight of these renders is the camera module. The triangular frame is slightly stretched towards the center. Besides, the entire triangle layout is placed on a wide rectangular plate, just like the iPhone 17 Pro.

Two rings are arranged vertically on one side of the camera module, while the third one appears at the center, holding two lenses (as per the images). The LED flash and XMAGE branding are outside the triangular layout.
Looking at these renders, it seems Huawei could try following Apple’s footsteps and implement a wider camera bump on its flagship’s back.
Apple made incredible changes to last year’s iPhones, and the industry briefly pretended that the center of gravity had moved. Several brands like Xiaomi and HONOR have replicated Apple’s design approach on their smartphones.
Though whether Huawei will also follow suit for its upcoming Pura 90 series would be worth looking at!
