Huawei Pura X2 could be the world’s first wide-scale foldable, wider than the previous-generation model! That’s not us, but the new leak surfacing on the internet. Perhaps the company is giving a dynamic makeover to its upcoming flip-flop phone.
DigitalChatStation got some new insights about the next-gen Pura folding phone. According to him, the company is planning to stretch the foldable in width.
The tipster revealed the parameters of the early engineering foldable machine. It is currently testing a BOE-supplied screen panel with a size of 7.6 to 7.7 inches.
In that case, the Huawei Pura X2 could be even wider than the first-gen Pura foldable handset. For comparison, the previous model has a 6.3-inch main screen and a 3.5-inch cover screen. Although the latest leak hints at more inches to the display.
Further, the tipster said that the foldable will tentatively launch in the second quarter of 2026. That’s news, as the device was expected to show up in March next year.
Huawei unveiled the Pura X folding device in March this year. And it was expected that the company would follow the same timeline for the next-gen clamshell as well. Though the company might delay the process due to the “Premium Edition.”
