Huawei Pura X2 could introduce amazing changes in terms of looks, and this segment may include a special Purple color variant. It seems the firm is developing a significant shade line in its family, and the new-gen Pura foldable can be a part of it!
Last month, DigitalChatStation revealed the codename and colors of the Huawei Pura X2. It includes four impressive shades: White, Green, Blue-Black, and Orange.
It appeared that the company may skip the stylish Red and Gray shades this time, with even more beautiful additions for both the standard and the Collector’s Edition.
Now, SuperDimensional on Weibo has revealed that the Huawei Pura X2 will have a new Purple color variant. Interestingly, the company was recently rumored to launch the same version for the MatePad Mini, completing its “Purple Device” family.

The company has already used the respective colorway for luxurious and premium products like the Huawei Mate XTs, Mate X7, and the Watch Ultimate Design. Now it is seemingly planning to bring the same shade to its tablets and clamshells.
Huawei not only upgrades the design of its devices while crafting them, but also plays with their color concepts, making them more appealing to its consumers.
And the Pura X2 foldable won’t be a change in this direction. While the clamshell product remains a mystery in terms of launch date and other key specs, it hints at a drastic shift in its appearance over the previous-gen model.
For now, Huawei is busy in the preparations for the global launch event coming next week on Thursday. It will unveil several flagship products at the stage, including the Mate 80 Pro. Hence, we have to wait for more to know the launch date of the Pura X2.
