Huawei Pura X2 was set to debut in March this year, but it appears the foldable may face a significant launch delay. News regarding the 2nd-generation Pura folding phone suggests that it may release in the market around the second quarter.
Pura X2 has been the subject of rumors for quite some time. According to some early details, it was expected to launch in March this year, following the timeline of its predecessor.
Although FixedFocus noticed that the Huawei Pura X2 launch may delay this year. He added that the device could go official after the Pura 90 gets released in the market.
The tipster hasn’t revealed the reason behind this sudden delay. Though it could be due to the wider screen implementation that has been in the news for a while.
Huawei is seemingly making some world’s first changes with the second-generation Pura clamshell. Even though the details are behind the mist at present, it may include a broader display panel and an optimized Kirin 5G processor.
Things are uncertain about the Pura X2 release. But as per the latest leak, it may get a relatively late launch date. Interestingly, the tipster said that one can go for the first generation if they can’t wait to buy a foldable smartphone.
Premium Edition is the reason behind delay?
Now that hints, the company will unveil the Pura X Premium Edition in the coming time with a few notable upgrades. It could debut by the end of this month.
This could be another reason why Huawei is delaying the Pura X2 launch. Perhaps it might want to maintain a gap between the two launches so both models can get sufficient attention in the market, enhancing the company’s sales.
Let’s wait for a few more days to get a clear view on this matter.
