Earlier today, Huawei announced the MatePad 11.5 (2026) tablet, which is now listed on the official website with core details about memory, colors, and variants. The phone is up for pre-orders with the following memory options and variants.
- WiFi 8GB+128GB
- WiFi 8GB+128GB Soft Light Edition
- WiFi 8GB+256GB Soft Light Edition
- WiFi 12GB+256GB Soft Light Edition
- 8GB+256GB (Network Connectivity)

As you can see, the company will charge extra for the anti-glare display version of the tablet. Meanwhile, the network version will get the screen pre-installed. The RAM is up to 12GB on the top variant, which was limited to 8GB in the 2024 version, supporting better task execution.
On the other hand, Huawei has revealed four MatePad 11.5 (2026) colors, including space gray, seabird blue, frost silver, and feather purple. That said, the purple color will streamline this new launch.

Furthermore, Huawei is giving away the MatePad 11.5 (2026) smart leather case in classic black color to protect this tablet.

The tablet is on pre-order starting December 18, which will end with the final launch on December 22, 2025, where it will share the unveiling event with the Nova 15 series smartphones.
MatePad 11.5
The specs are currently unknown, but we have all of the information for its predecessor, and here’s what you should know.
The MatePad 11.5 2024 comes with an 11.5-inch screen featuring a 2.2K resolution TFT LCD (IPS) touch screen. The visuals expand through corners with an 86% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet generates 16.7 million colors with a paper-like combination for e-book and document reading.
This device also had an anti-glare display, which eliminates 97% of the direct light, reducing reflection and improving the content visibility.
The device’s form factor plays a critical role in offsetting its huge display size. It weighs only 499 grams, and it’s as thin as 6.85mm. These two aspects make it easy to hold in one hand while freeing the other hand to perform creative actions.
The current-gen MatePad 11.5 equips a 13MP HD camera with an f/1.8 aperture, and the front side has an 8MP 105-degree wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Furthermore, it offers a large battery backup with a 40W superfast charger.
Huawei may tweak some of these specifications in the MatePad (2026), but we’ll have to wait for the official unveiling.
