Huawei continues to dominate the 4th week of 2026 Chinese smartphone sales market over Apple. The company has maintained its leading position in the first month of this year, pushing the iPhone maker to the second place in the market share.
SmartChipInsider on Weibo has once again shared the analysis of the 4th week of the 2026 Chinese smartphone sales market, where Huawei is standing at the top.
The Chinese OEM has surpassed Apple and maintained its top position on the ranking list. As per the latest listing, Huawei accounts for 18.48% of the share.
Of course, the Mate 80 series is the main reason behind this new win. The flagship lineup drew a lot of attention for its tremendous features at a cost-effective price. Besides, the Nova 15 series gained traction for its eye-catching camera traits.

Apple ranked second with 17.98% of the market share. Vivo is in third spot with a total of 16.05% market share (Vivo: 11.53% and iQOO: 4.53%), and OPPO has appeared in fourth place with a market share of 16%, with the following brands:
- OPPO: 11.70% market share
- OnePlus + Realme: 4.30% market share
Honor appeared at the fifth slot with 13.43% of the market share, whereas Xiaomi ranked sixth with 13.41% of the market share. Overall, the market witnessed a gradual growth in smartphone shipments for the first four weeks of 2026.
Despite various challenges, Huawei continues to move towards success with significant improvements and upgrades in its devices. The company is currently gathering attention for the second-gen Pura foldable and the first flagship of 2026 – the Pura 90 series.
It would be interesting to see if the company maintains the same ruling figure throughout the year or faces some challenges in the middle!
