Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 finally debuts in China today with a variety of new sports and health features. The new wearable appears identical to its global sibling. But whether it has any significant upgrades compared to the overseas version? Let’s check.
Watch GT Runner 2 comes to China in three shades – Light Blue, Dawn Orange, and Shadow Black. It has a dimension of 43.5 x 43.5 x 10.7mm, 1220-190mm wrist size, and 34.5 grams of weight. The device has a bold and rich appearance.
But something even more interesting about this smartwatch is its Cloud Sensing Breathable Braided Strap technology. It helps you feel comfortable irrespective of your training hours. Besides, the OEM crafted the watch with a nano-injection molding process to create an ultra-thin + lightweight body structure.
The wearable features a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with 466 x 466 pixels resolution, 352PPI, and 3000 nits peak brightness. It also uses a second-gen Kunlun glass, shielding the screen from scratches and high falls.

Huawei has integrated a brand-new 3D floating antenna that accurately matches satellite signals. It is further combined with the AI-XDR location algorithm that improves positioning by 20% and precisely records the track even when passing through obstructed areas.
Coming to features, Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 stepped into China with the same sports capabilities as the global model. It supports the industry’s first professional Marathon Mode with an event assistant, smart training plan, professional data analysis, and performance predictor.

Watch GT Runner 2 has a speedometer that tells the time you take to reach your target. One can take warm-up exercises, real-time details of the amplitude, and 17000+ golf courses.
Moreover, the wearable has smarter health features like ECG, sleep data management, HRV, SpO2, Emotional Wellbeing 2.0, alerts on altitude risks, health summary, fall detection, and coronary heart disease research for vascular, respiratory, and other points.
