Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 has started buzzing in China, and the OEM has now opened the wearable for the official pre-order activity. Just like its global sibling, the running-dedicated smartwatch will debut on the home ground in three colors.
Watch GT Runner 2 has been surfacing on Huawei Weibo channels for a long time. Though the company didn’t announce its release window on the home turf yet.
But in the current scenario, Huawei has opened the Watch GT Runner 2 for pre-order in China. Interested buyers can reserve it in advance at the online VMall store.
Speaking of the details, the pre-order listing doesn’t reveal much about the new smartwatch. It highlights the color options for the wearable, which are as follows: Light Blue, Dawn Orange, and Hard Black.
The company hasn’t announced the launch timeline for the new Watch GT Runner 2, but it will likely go official in its home ground on March 23 alongside new phones.
Regarding price, the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 costs HK$2688 in Hong Kong, which is nearly 2368 yuan in China. Although the company may offer some discount + Chinese subsidy benefits with this wearable at its official sale.
Most of the features for the Chinese Watch GT Runner 2 variant will be the same as the global sibling. However, the company might introduce a few exclusive capabilities and cutting-edge technologies in this model. Let’s wait till March 23 to explore accurate specs and features.
