HyperOS 3.0 weekly bug report shows gaming glitch for these devices

Xiaomi has recently dropped its HyperOS 3.0-based weekly bug report with issues like gaming glitches, interface problems, and installation errors, for certain devices. And you should check if your phone is affected by any of these defects.

HyperOS 3.0 has introduced many interesting features for Xiaomi phones. Meanwhile, the company keeps updating its devices with new improvement patches and security rollouts, ensuring a better lifespan and efficiency.

But often these devices encounter issues like freezing, lagging, app crashing, and more. While beta testers continue to reveal these problems, the Xiaomi team also keeps an eye on the devices to monitor their performance and relevant glitches.

In the latest edition, the company has shown what issues are responsible for ruining the user experience of Xiaomi devices. It also revealed the affected software versions and models, as well as when they can get the solution to the corresponding defect.

Currently, there are four major issues as per the HyperOS 3.0 weekly bug report for Xiaomi devices: freezing, interface glitches, gaming performance, and installation errors.

Freezing Issue

In the freezing issue, HyperOS 3.0.2.0 version-based models like POCO X7 Pro in Europe were experiencing system freezing right after the alarm rings. The issue was triggering the Clock app. But the OEM has fixed this problem with a new update rollout.

Users need to update the system clock app as soon as they get a new version of it. Or else, they may continue to face the same problem.

Interface Glitch

Xiaomi Pad 7 users with the HyperOS 3.0.4.0 version in the global market are dealing with interface defects. The screen recorder floating button has failed to appear during the operation. The company is analyzing the issue and may soon drop a fix.

Meanwhile, users can try fixing the issue by heading to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > Screen Recorder > Other Permissions, and enabling the Display pop-up windows option.

Gaming Performance

POCO F7 Pro running on HyperOS 3.0.4.0 is affected by unexpected frame drops during gameplay. The company has started investigating the main scheduler to optimize performance stability.

Installation Error

Redmi Note 14 users are receiving a “couldn’t update” error prompt during installation. According to Xiaomi, the issues appeared via a temporary OTA update path configuration error. The server-side configuration has been corrected, and users can install the update normally. Overall, these are the issues reported:

  • System Stability: Fixed
  • Interface Glitch: Under Analysis
  • Gaming: Under Analysis
  • Installation Error: Fixed

Xiaomi will soon fix the under-analysis problems with new updates. Make sure to install the upcoming builds to get a stable and bug-free experience.
