China’s Double 11 Sales event is live, and the result as of now shows iPhone 17 models at new heights while Huawei as its lowest. A new report shows how every brand has performed during one of the biggest Chinese shopping festivals this year.
As noted by Counterpoint, Apple solely powered the Double 11 Sales event with the iPhone 17 series, while Huawei faced the biggest decline among all major brands.
Ivan Lam, the Senior Analyst at Counterpoint, said the iPhone 17 series has performed really well. The credit goes to the standard model, filled with an upgraded storage option, larger specs, advanced cameras, and the same cost as the iPhone 16.
Besides, the 300 yuan discount on the iPhone 17 handsets during the double 11 sales event has further garnered the attention of Chinese consumers towards this flagship.
That made Apple score 37% of sales share in China. On the flip side, Huawei grabbed third spot with a 22% decline in shipments due to the Mate 80 launch preparations.
Huawei mainly aimed to checkmate other Chinese brands’ top-end models that recently made their way to the market. Although this move affected the company’s game in the Chinese Singles’ Day Sales.

Counterpoint mentioned that:
“With the launch of its new Mate 80 flagship series missing the sales period by two weeks, Huawei saw the biggest decline. The new device is aimed at competing with the slew of Chinese OEM flagships launched recently.”
Xiaomi is second in this listing with an 11% drop, while vivo is seeing a hike of 8% in the shipment share and is ranked fourth. Honor also bumped into the decline segment with a 14% decrease in its growth, whereas OPPO earned 12% progress.
China’s Double 11 Sales event grew 3% year-on-year due to the iPhone 17 Series. However, the event witnessed a tragic drop in 2025, excluding Apple.
