Honor is teasing the Magic V6 foldable in both China and global markets and in the current scenario, the company has shed light on the top-notch battery technology of the upcoming foldable. The changes may defeat the previous-generation model.
A new teaser on X reveals that Honor has big plans for Magic V6 battery technology. The company has shared battery capacity details ahead of the device’s premiere.
The tech giant said that Magic V6 foldable’s battery technology is not just a cell pack but a real breakthrough in energy. It is thinner, stronger, and beyond imagination.
Well, the credit goes to the all-new Silicon-carbon blade battery. It is an advanced lithium-ion cell that has replaced outdated graphite anodes with silicon carbon, increasing the energy density of the battery by at least 10-20%.
It is further responsible for faster charging, longer battery life, and low-temperature performance. The teaser suggests that Magic V6 will feature a 6600mAh battery in overseas markets – a 13.4% increase on the Magic V5 (global variant).
