Honor has once again opened the gates of MagicOS 10.0 beta testing, this time for a few eligible foldable smartphones. The company is bringing the new flavor of its software upgrade to its excellent clamshell devices, breathing new life into them.
The Chinese phone maker has officially shared the new MagicOS 10 beta recruitment news on the community, calling the “left-out” Honor foldable phone users.
While many top-end models and mid-range devices have received the new Android 16-based MagicOS upgrade, the company is now bringing it to more handsets.
Magic V Flip 2, Magic V Flip, and the Honor X70i are eligible phones to participate in this MagicOS 10.0 beta pool. You can check the compatible models below.
- Honor Magic V Flip2 High-End Edition (CLE-AN00)
- Honor Magic V Flip2 (CLE-AN00)
- Honor Magic V Flip High-End Edition (LRA-AN00)
- Honor Magic V Flip (LRA-AN00)
- Honor X70i AI Edition (ABR-AN00)
- Honor X70i (ABR-AN00)
Note that this software testing phase has a limited number of seats for the respective phone users. The log version has 500, whereas the no-log build version has 1500 seats. Hence, ensure to participate in this testing as soon as possible.
One can register for this activity through the “My Honor” app. Just open the app and select the Club option. Now tap on MagicOS and click on the Closed Beta Application. Follow the on-screen instructions and submit your application.
This recruitment will be live till January 23. Hereafter, the eligible devices will start receiving the MagicOS 10 closed beta. Make sure to back up your data beforehand and keep sufficient storage space, say 10GB, in the phone to install the firmware.
