More phone brands prepping to adopt this Huawei security feature

Huawei has a super-interesting security feature for its devices named – AI anti-peeping, and it looks like more phone brands are preparing to adopt this ultimate capability. After Honor, tech vendors like Xiaomi and more have begun testing a similar function for their handsets.

DigitalChatStation has revealed that the AI anti-peeping screen feature is now becoming a “forward-looking” addition for smartphones. As per the leak, several phone brands have now started testing a Huawei-inspired security feature.

But there’s catch.

Looking into the leak, the tipster has shared an image that shows Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display feature. It’s somewhat similar to Huawei’s anti-peeping AI tool, though with more advancements. And looks like more Android phones are on their way to likely use this capability.

The tipster added that new phones coming in September this year will showcase the AI-powered anti-peeping capability. It is a hardware-level feature, and tech vendors are exploring new screen panels to embed the new technology.

A couple of weeks ago, Honor appeared in the news for using the anti-peeping tool in the Magic 9 series, after seeing its benefits in Huawei’s top-edge smartphones.

Besides Honor, it seems brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo will adopt this feature by September for their flagships coming in the second half of this year.

AI anti-peeping is one of the best features introduced for smartphones. If you have been concerned about privacy while traveling in subways or standing in elevators, then this tech capability is the perfect answer for all your worries.

As the term suggests, the anti-peeping feature uses AI to detect if anyone standing beside you or crossing behind you is looking into the screen. If so, the feature immediately alerts you about the situation and hides the screen content.

It generally blurs the content, hiding main details, sensitive app talks, or other important notes that you don’t want others to read or check on.

Perhaps more brands are liking the benefits of the Huawei-introduced AI tool. Though it would be interesting to see how many phones debut with this capability in the future.
