Huawei has launched the new HarmonyOS 6.0.0.328 beta program for the Watch GT 6 series. With this new closed software testing activity, the company is adding more interesting and prominent capabilities to its flagship smartwatches.
The phone maker is calling out Huawei Watch GT 6 series users to take part in the new HarmonyOS 6.0 closed beta recruitment program, starting from today.
According to the company, HarmonyOS 6.0.0.328 is a complete software evolution. It introduces a variety of new features for every segment of the wearable devices.
Inputs further reveal that the HarmonyOS 6.0.0.328 beta version for the Watch GT 6 series will unlock more practical features, such as new alarm clocks, enhancements for the weather, and sports applications, and more.
Huawei hasn’t mentioned all the features. However, we will get to know about these additions with the new version push. Since it is a beta build, instability could be an issue. Hence, proceed with the update at your risk.
Note that, being a closed beta program, the new update is limited to 2500 slots for each wearable unit. For instance, the Watch GT 6 41mm variant has 500 log and 2000 no-log seats. Similarly, the Watch GT 6 46mm and the Pro models have 1000 log and 2000 no-log seats.

How to register?
Users can either sign up for this beta activity from the My Huawei App directly or through the Mini Program in the My Huawei or Service apps. The company has adopted a process of reviewing and pushing the build simultaneously. Thus, it won’t take much time for the version to reach eligible users.
Apart from the smartwatch, Huawei has also opened the same version for the flagship smartphones and tablets. Users can participate in the beta pool through the My Huawei App. Make sure to have sufficient storage and a full backup beforehand.
