Xiaomi has fixed some nasty camera issues for certain devices with the new HyperOS 3.0 software update. In addition, the company shed light on the other workarounds that are currently underway and will soon reach the affected handsets.
One of the Xiaomi employees has shared a new post on the official forum, revealing a new HyperOS update that fixes camera issues for selected devices. These are related to the Camera Watermark.
Some Xiaomi 15 smartphone users running the HyperOS 3.0.6.2 version noticed that their devices are facing problems with the camera app. A few reported sensitive operation prompts frequently in specific conditions.
Meanwhile, others mentioned abnormal power consumption. Redmi K70 Ultra users with the HyperOS 3.0.5.3 version reported that their camera recording stops automatically when they turn on the flash.
Gladly, Xiaomi has fixed all these problems in the latest HyperOS update. The company will soon roll out the new version to users, and they should install it to get rid of irritating bugs right away!
