New HyperOS update to fix these gallery issues for Xiaomi devices


Xiaomi is now working on a new HyperOS update that will resolve some gallery and display issues for its devices. While it has already fixed certain problems with the latest version, the software team is dealing with other troublesomes.

The Chinese OEM has started rolling out the stable HyperOS 3.1 update for top-end models in China. The list includes Xiaomi 17 series, Redmi K90 phones, and a few tablets.

According to the official details, Xiaomi is currently fixing gallery as well as display issues for its selected devices that appeared in the HyperOS 3.1 beta update.

  • Issue of QQ and WeChat widgets that display repeatedly in the recent tasks menu.
  • Issue of abnormal bounce when swiping right to view the previous photo in the album.
  • Issue of blurry images when viewing pictures in landscape mode in the album.
  • Issue of dark mode, where the sunrise and sunset modes are not working.
