Huawei Pura X2 is still waiting for its official release time announcement, and ahead of that, the next-gen Nova Flip foldable is emerging in leaks, hinting at its launch frame. And it seems the device will follow the previous-generation model’s time.
FixedFocus revealed that the Huawei Nova Flip foldable launch time is tentatively scheduled for the third or fourth quarter of this year. Though this release period is uncertain at present.
The Nova Flip S debuted in October last year as the most affordable clamshell product on the market. It continued the same design with new software capabilities.
Apart from the launch timeline, the tipster didn’t mention any other info about the upcoming Nova foldable. However, netizens believe that the device could step into the market with a price tag of 5000 yuan.
Huawei launched the first Nova clamshell in 2024 for 5288 yuan. The flip-flop model gained a lot of attention due to its cover screen, new software features, and a budget-friendly price. It was the first fold phone with super cost-effective trait.

In 2025, Huawei introduced the Nova Flip S as a cheaper version of the first-gen Nova foldable. It costs 3488 yuan and became the company and the industry’s most pocket-friendly folding smartphone at that time.
