Honor has been the biggest player in the smartphone world this year when it comes to screen and battery, but it looks like a new handset is on the way to defame this brand with its ultimate characteristics – the OnePlus 15R. The device is coming this month.
OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis revealed that the upcoming OnePlus 15R (Ace 6T model in China) will launch as the world’s first smartphone with an 8300mAh ultra-huge glacier battery. It will officially enter the new 8000+ mAh era!
The chief mentioned that the OnePlus 15R focuses on two main goals: first is the battery capacity, and second is the performance. One can go out without a power backup, as the device will deliver seamless operation efficiency all day long.
Yes, one charge is enough to run the handset – also thanks to the upgraded power saving mode + 100W SuperFast Charging that quickly recovers the device’s energy.
For comparison, Honor launched the X70 smartphone with an 8300mAh battery. It has used a higher-density cell pack coupled with 80W wired + 80W wireless charging.
Here, the battery is even more than the standard OnePlus 15 (7300mAh). In addition, the 15R model will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to sport robust performance. The company also implemented two G2 Wi-Fi processors.

Apart from the battery parameter, the OnePlus 15R has a dynamic screen with 120FPS always-on gameplay screen and 165Hz refresh rate. Honor is also in the news to launch the upcoming GT 2 handsets with a 165Hz refresh rate.
