OPPO Find X9 Ultra could be the first flagship smartphone to bring the “two 200MP cameras” concept in the world. A new leak suggests that the respective smartphone will be one of the strongest imaging handsets in the consumer market.
Remember when some rumors tagged the Huawei Pura 90 Ultra as the first smartphone with a dual 200MP camera setup? Well, it seems Huawei is already getting a rival in this race – the OPPO Find X9 Ultra with some powerful imaging specs.
DigitalChatStation said the OPPO Find X9 Ultra can be the first phone to feature dual 200MP cameras. It has revealed detailed imaging parameters of the new device.
According to the leaker, the”Find X9 Ultra is confirmed to use double 200MP camera sensors.” One of these will belong to the main lens, while the other will be an incredible periscope zoom lens.
The tipster describes that the Find X9 Ultra’s 200MP main camera will be capable of more light intake compared to the previous-gen 1-inch sensor. If true, it would be a big step in the primary snapper segment, specifically for low-light performance.
Increased light intake in a phone’s camera enhances the art of collecting light for photography. Besides, more light leads to higher quality images with sharper details and less noise. One gets impressive shots irrespective of the surroundings.
Further, the tipster spotlights the periscope camera of the Find X9 Ultra. The device will sport a 200MP medium-to-ultra telephoto zoom. It will offer 10x zooming capability with the maximum light intake in the same range (near or far).
The phone may also use a special 50MP periscope to complement the new zoom sensor and deliver 10x optical zoom. Overall, this setup will appear as the strongest zoom camera solution in the smartphone industry to date, as per the leak.
All camera sensors will provide lossless high-quality focal lengths with an expansion of 230mm, while the high-quality can extend to 460mm. This extension will set the OPPO Find X9 Ultra apart in the market and one step ahead of its predecessor.
Prior to OPPO, Huawei was in rumors to use the double 200MP cameras concept. But the company has yet to enter the 200MP camera segment. Meanwhile, it looks like OPPO will take over this place with its upcoming flagship, at least for now.
