Honor has recently updated its two important apps: Smart Space and Sports + Health, which are now compatible with HarmonyOS 5-powered smartphones and tablets. Huawei users can now utilize these applications on their handsets.
The Honor Smart Space app is a central hub for Honor’s full-scenario smart devices. It allows users to discover, connect, and control accessories like earbuds and home-related appliances.
On the other hand, the Honor Sports and Health app is a companion app for Honor wearables and smart bands that records, analyzes, and manages your fitness and health data, tracking workouts, plus monitoring health metrics for users.
In the latest edition, Honor updated these Smart apps, making them available for HarmonyOS 5.0 phones and tablets. Consumers can use compatible Huawei devices to connect their Honor wearables and manage them directly, without the requirement of an Honor smartphone.

Notably, both these applications bring only basic features to HarmonyOS 5 and 6 devices. For instance, the Honor Smart Space app only has the following features:
- Supports connection to Honor Bluetooth headsets and allows users to set up and experience more Bluetooth headset features.
- Supports binding family members’ Honor phones to remotely protect family members.
Meanwhile, the Honor Sports and Health app supports minimal features that can be compatible with Huawei devices, without any issues. These features are:
- Supports connection, setup, and synchronization of health and exercise records for Honor wearable devices ( Honor Watch GS3 and later devices ).
- The app supports outdoor running, outdoor walking, and outdoor cycling.
