Huawei Pura X2 is garnering attention for its rumored wider design, and it seems we got the very first look at the second-gen Pura foldable. The image is circulating on the internet, giving a rough idea of how the new creation will look.
UniverseIce has shared a new image of X, showing the first look at the Huawei Pura X2. And yes, it appears wider than the previous-generation Pura model.
The new image shows a similar lens bump as the Pura X foldable. It has the same pill-structured camera module with four lens openings and an LED flash.
Perhaps these camera rings include an ultra-vision main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle shooter with RYYB properties, a telephoto lens, and the 2nd-gen multispectral camera. Although the image highlights a major change over the predecessor.
Compared to the Pura X, which has the camera module and the big cover screen on the same side, the new Pura X2 may bring even bigger external display that will appear on the first half of the back. And the lens frame will show up on the other half.

In that way, consumers will be able to perform more tasks right through the cover screen of the device instead of unfolding the device. Although how far this imagined design will prove to be the accurate one is currently unclear.
For now, Huawei is rumored to be delaying the Pura X2 launch by a whole quarter. Unlike the previous-gen model that debuted in March last year, the new-gen folding phone may go official after the Pura 90 series launch event.
Huawei hasn’t mentioned any details on this matter yet. Though the Pura X2 has started emerging in leaks and we may soon grab more revelations about it.
