Xiaomi 13T Pro phone users living in the global market are quite happy as the Android 16-based HyperOS 3.0 update is now at their doorsteps. The latest HyperOS firmware has been released in Europe and will soon reach more eligible regions.
Note that the Xiaomi 13T model is still in the internal testing process. So it’s unclear whether the standard variant will get new Android 16-based upgrade or not.
With the new build, Xiaomi 13T Pro will directly move to Android 16 from the HyperOS 2.2 (Android 15) version. The update will breathe new life into the device.
The company has been pushing off the new upgrade to flagship phones for some time, but Xiaomi 13T Pro was missing from the list, sparking debate about whether it will get the major upgrade. Though all such confusions have reached an end.
Xiaomi 13T Pro is getting a major upgrade with HyperOS 3.0.3.0 build. The corresponding device owners will get an iOS-style status bar, new app icons, Hyper Island with smarter controls for selected apps and services.
Besides, one will notice the iOS 26-like Liquid Glass Effect. It’s generally a blur effect that provides a deeper visual experience in folder animations and multitasking screens. The update also introduces customized lock screen clock styles, redesigned Settings menu, and more.
