A tipster has recently revealed the best-selling Huawei foldable of 2025 – the Pura X phone. While the company is prepping the next-generation widescreen clamshell, the previous version continues to garner attention among consumers.
The tipster further stated that Huawei’s seven years of experience with foldable screens demonstrates remarkably accurate market judgment. In addition, more phone makers will join the “widescreen foldable” phone segment in the future.
Describing more about the Pura X, another tipster revealed how the new form factor foldable has gained so much traction in the market amid the ongoing competition for the slimmest folding smartphone.

On the other hand, widescreen phones like Pura X with a direct 16:10 screen ratio don’t require any third-party application for distorted adaptations when unfolded.
Secondly, the widescreen foldable has more space on screen, unlike the regular clamshells. They even defeat iPads with a perfect combination of phone + tablet.
The third factor is price, which plays the most significant role in the fame of a device. Unlike various flip-flop models in the market, the Huawei Pura X is a bit affordable despite having premium features.
Eventually, all three factors are responsible for the popularity of the Huawei Pura X in the consumer market. The only sad part is – this device is only exclusive to China.
