Huawei was the first brand to feature a multispectral camera in its top-end phone lineup, and it looks like Vivo is planning to adopt this imaging lens for its upcoming flagship. But there may be some new advancements to this hardware piece.
As noted by tipster @DigitalChatStation, an upcoming flagship phone by Vivo (probably) is likely to use a multispectral camera. While Huawei was the first to introduce this imaging technology, more brands may follow suit in the future.
Well, this phone can be the Vivo X300 Ultra. The smartphone has been rumored to use dynamic imaging capabilities, and the new sensor can be part of it.
The tipster further stated that this new phone will feature the highest pixel-oriented multispectral camera. Instead of 1.5MP lens, the Vivo device may bring a 5MP sensor.
Notably, this would be the largest size multispectral sensor in the industry to date. Huawei has used a 1.5MP color reproduction lens for its devices. It has recently introduced the second-gen camera, though it didn’t reveal its megapixels officially.

However, the tipster mentioned that the Vivo X300 Ultra handset could bring a 5MP multispectral camera with the most color channels. Thus, the overall vibrance could glorify the image to a greater extent, probably better than Mate 80 phones.
On the other hand, this new multispectral sensor will take both photos and videos into account, enhancing the visuality and color reproduction of the media to the best.
These points hint that the new multispectral camera for the Vivo flagship will be the best imaging solution of this year. Although the company has not confirmed or revealed any information yet about the upcoming device.
