Huawei is seemingly up with another Kirin chip for future smartphones – Kirin 9050, and the latest leak about this processor signals a breakthrough in performance. Once again, the company has emerged in the news for a new chip packaging technology.
Wiebo tipster GuoJing has now shared details on the Huawei Kirin 9050 chip and its performance upgrades. And it seems the new SoC will break all the Kirin improvement records to date!
According to the tipster, the Kirin 9050 series chipsets will adopt a new generation of chip packaging technology. The new implementation will eventually boost the chipset performance to a whole new level.
But this contradicts a previous report!
Earlier, a tipster revealed that Huawei won’t go for a new chip packaging tech. Rather, it will continue to improve its chipset manufacturing for future handsets.
However, the latest leak suggests that the company is planning big shifts in its chip production. According to GuoJing, the Kirin 9050 chip will stick to the same large and small core architecture but with increased GHz values (frequencies).

The tipster adds that the core structure will also change to some extent, which will help in enhancing the actual heat dissipation performance. At the same time, Huawei is seemingly testing a new thermal packaging process to achieve more efficient, real, and effective heat dissipation.
