Xiaomi has recently unwrapped the flagship Xiaomi 17 series in the global market and now another top-notch model, MAX is rumored to debut next month. The device has been popping up in discussions for a long while, and these talks may end in April!
DigitalChatStation revealed that Xiaomi 17 Max is coming next month. It will likely launch alongside the Redmi K90 Ultra smartphone, which will remain exclusive to China.
The tipster didn’t mention the device’s name but positioned it as the top flagship featuring a Dimensity 9500 chip. It may also bring major shifts in the camera and battery.
According to previous inputs, the Xiaomi 17 Max will use a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen, just like its other “Pro Max” sibling, but without any magic display.

In terms of the camera, the smartphone is rumored to sport a 200MP main camera on the back, coupled with a 50MP telephoto sensor and an ultrawide-angle lens. And instead of Snapdragon, the device will likely adopt Dimensity 9500.
Xiaomi is expected to seed a bigger-than Magic 8 Pro battery in the MAX smartphone, up to 8000mAh capacity. Even though the tipster didn’t tell the exact launch date of the new phone, it may show up on stage by mid-to-end April.
Apart from the Xiaomi 17 series, the company is also focusing on the new-gen flagship that will debut in the second half of this year. It would be quite interesting to see what major enhancements the new lineup will bring to the table over its predecessors.
