Xiaomi will likely bring many new improvements to the flagship Xiaomi 17 series models with the next HyperOS update. The company has shared a few details in its new report regarding what fixes it will push to some of its top-tier smartphones.
According to the official information, the company has already fixed the preview of photos taken with the back screen in the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max handset. Users can install the latest update to grab the fix if they have been facing the specific issue.
In addition, the Chinese tech giant mentioned that the relevant team members are now working on certain improvements for the Xiaomi 17 series, and users will get these fixes with the upcoming HyperOS update.
Note that certain issues are related to the Xiaomi 15 models and the Redmi K90 Pro Max. Hence, the next HyperOS 3 update is going to be very significant!
Fixes Underway:
Xiaomi 17 Series
- The advanced texture input method in the system keyboard is not clearly visible.
- The voice input method in the system keyboard cannot convert speech to text.
- The floating window does not disappear after hanging up a WeChat video or voice call.
- The weather does not refresh.
- Issues with the input box are causing abnormal typing when using the 9-key Pinyin input method to open the AI assistant in certain scenarios.
Xiaomi 15
- Issues with abnormal automatic brightness in certain scenarios.
- Issues with Super AI failing to activate after long-pressing the power button in certain scenarios.
- Issues with reversed orientation when sending animated GIFs via WeChat in certain scenarios.
Redmi K90 Pro Max
- Issues with Xiao Ai Timetable crashing in certain scenarios.
