Xiaomi 17 Ultra is receiving a new HyperOS 3.0 update that brings Leica Instant Camera Mode 1 x Tap Zoom. The feature is rolling out only for the Leica Edition, enhancing the overall camera and video shooting experience for phone users.
The company has released the HyperOS 3.0.15.0 update for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra phones with several new camera features, including a Leica Instant Mode 1 x Tap Zoom.
It is unclear how this feature will work. Though it is seemingly designed for quick, street photography. It may allow Xiaomi 17 Ultra users to instantly switch between different focal lengths in real time with a single tap on the screen.
Besides, one can quickly zoom by tapping to change the field of view rather than simply relying on a traditional smooth optical zoom slider. Overall, you can grab a perfect candid shot within seconds without making big shifts in the camera settings.
The company has also added a dual-view mode and has optimized some existing imaging features in the device. You can check the full changelog below.
