Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition is now official! The company has launched an excellent smartphone variant with a Pro-like camera mechanism and some beautiful traits. It also brings a special Coca-Cola logo engraved on one corner of the body.
The Chinese phone maker has unveiled two Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphones during the official launch event: standard and Leica Edition. The former has top-grade imaging specs while the latter surprises consumers with its DSLR-like cam setup.

As the name suggests, the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition is a special imaging variant in the company’s smartphone family. Both the OEM and Lieca jointly crafted the new model, opening a new chapter in the mobile camera world.
Starting with the design, the device is quite similar to the original Ultra variant. Although the back panel has an asymmetrical marginal look with dual-tones. The first half has a gray shade while the second wider half has a black shade. The plain leather design gives a rugged and matte finish to the device.

The camera bump is the same as the main model. But the eye-catching part is the Coca-Cola-like Leica logo at the upper left corner (above the camera module). Besides, the edges have a grille-like design below the power button.
Interestingly, the design of this model is inspired by the Leica M camera’s double-piece format. The middle frame is engraved with knurled lines and shows the LECIA CAMERA GERMANY inscription. It comes in Classic Black and White colors.

Leica Edition is almost identical to the main variant. So what’s new with this model? Some exclusive features of this phone are as follows:

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition has a special red Leica label and a super-iconic rotating camera ring. It enables users to adjust the focal length of the zoom sensor by physically rotating the ring. One can further alter + adjust exposure compensation, white balance, and other settings for creative shots.

Another special feature of this device is the Leica Moment mode. It offers Leica M9 image quality and restores the legendary CCD texture with rich colors.
The feature supports Leica M3 + MONOPAN 50 image quality alongside a black and white film texture, classic 3:2 full-frame, and reflects the first-gen Leica film aspect ratio.
Next is the Beidou + Tiantong dual satellite communication. This tech will allow users to communicate with their contacts even in low-network areas. It also packs a special security chip that shields users’ data against all risky factors.
Price: Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition is official in two variants. The 16GB + 512GB model costs 7999 yuan, whereas the 16GB + 1TB version is available for 8999 yuan.
