SmartPikachu revealed that Xiaomi has started exploring advanced back screen materials for the Xiaomi 18 Series. And this year, the OEM has new plans for this segment.
The tipster noted that the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro models will adopt AI-powered real displays. Perhaps users will get more interesting features on the back screen.
Following the leak, some netizens speculated to see the rear screen with the vanilla version as well this year. If so, the sales revenue of the OEM will hit new heights.

On the other hand, a few netizens expressed little interest in this addition and expected a larger battery or better speakers instead. According to a few users, the new implementation on the back eats space for better camera sensors and other specs.
