Mate 80 Pro Max Fan Edition will soon get a new rival named – Xiaomi Redmi K90 Max. While everyone has been expecting to see a Redmi K90 ULTRA variant later this month, the Chinese OEM today teased the all-new MAX smartphone.
Huawei’s cooling fan smartphone is gaining a lot of traction. Although Xiaomi has prepared a new challenge against the new Mate member that claims powerful cooling properties, like no other device!
Xiaomi Redmi K90 MAX will likely debut later this month. The company has shared a small glimpse of the new phone, teasing its super iconic cooling features.
According to the information, the Redmi K90 Max has an 18.1mm large-diameter cooling fan. It features a vertical air inlet design + forward-inclined fan blades. This layout pressurizes and collects air, reducing air volume to 0.42CFM.
The company has rated the new active cooling architecture with metal guide fins as 1.3 times higher than other competing Fan smartphones in the market.

Lu Weibing, the President of Xiaomi Phone Division, said that the new Redmi K90 model is the most powerful “performance and gaming king” in the K series ever.
It uses the most powerful air-cooling active heat dissipation system that can drop the overall device’s temperature by 10°C in just 100 seconds – less than 2 minutes!
“K90 Max gaming performance flagship is the first MAX in the REDMI K series, equipped with Xiaomi mobile phone’s first air-cooled active heat dissipation solution. See the real chapter in actual combat, K90 Max air-cooled heat dissipation, 100 seconds drop 10°C!”
Redmi K90 Max will be a China-exclusive device. Although it could be a tough competitor against smartphones like Honor WIN Series and the newly launched Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition.
