Xiaomi is introducing a new package status viewing feature to the Hyper Island. The company has already announced the capability and will soon begin pushing it to devices in a phased rollout. Make sure to keep your phone or tablet up-to-date.
On April 2, Xiaomi shared an announcement on Weibo. As per this news, Hyper Island will now support the Pinduoduo app and provide real-time package status.
Pinduoduo is a leading Chinese social e-commerce app that shows heavy discounts on products and encourages users to team up with friends or family to make group purchases. It also helps you track your order after making a purchase.
Hyper Island, on the other hand, is a HyperOS 3 feature. Similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, Xiaomi’s capability is a pill-shaped floating tab at the top of the screen near the camera cutout to show live, interactive updates for ongoing tasks.
In the current scenario, Xiaomi has integrated the Pinduoduo app in the Hyper Island feature to support real-time package status viewing for its smartphone users.
Simply put, the Xiaomi device owners can pull down the Hyper Island to create a smaller window and check their package status or freely get the logistic progress.
Xiaomi says:
“Track your package status in real time on the Island, anytime. Pull down to create a smaller window for easier operations, and there is no need to switch apps to keep track of your logistic progress.”
Currently, Hyper Island supports more than 60 apps and adapts to over 75 scenarios. The company is also adding more enhancements to this part, providing a better experience to users. So keep your device up-to-date to receive these interesting changes.
