Huawei has already unveiled the Watch GT Runner 2 for global customers, and recently published a new teaser video, showcasing the blue version, before the China launch.
The Watch GT Runner 2 carries the spirit of the first version and improves the sports activity detection, as well as looks for users. The frame uses an ultra-slim nanomolded titanium alloy case, providing comfort and durability, and the display is protected by the 2nd generation Kunlun glass. People on track won’t have problems checking their statistics thanks to a 3,000-nit peak brightness, supporting all outdoor activities.
The watch is paired with a Huawei AirDry woven strap that is skin-friendly and improves breathability by up to 25%. It also has a flouroelastomer strap that is breathable and easy to wear.
For global customers, Huawei brought the Watch GT 2 Runner in three colors – Dawn Orange, Dusk Blue, and Midnight Black. All of these variants bring a matching accent color that appears throughout their frame design.
This watch offers improved tracking with 20% more accurate positioning, and it now goes through buildings and tunnels. This improvement is powered by the 3D floating antenna and smart coverage position algorithm.
It offers 32 hours of power backup, supporting outdoor workouts using its new stacked silicone battery and low-power tech that provides 68% more energy density. Moreover, the new Runner has a powerful NPU, which includes ECG and HRV in health monitoring, providing even more helpful statistics in tracking.
The Watch GT Runner 2 has a smart marathon mode for people who want to practice long runs, developed dsm-firmenich Running team, and calibrated with elite runners’ training experts. Additionally, people can check the training analysis to review their performance and improve their health.
