Huawei has revamped the HarmonyOS 6 operating system with a bunch of new glass and translucent effects alongside smooth animations to improve the user experience.
This new improvement comes under a new HarmonyOS firmware version 6.0.0.328, released earlier for the Mate 80, 70, and 60 series alongside Pura 80 and 70 series, as well as other models.
The changelog mentioned that the new light effects apply to the lock screen, home screen, control panel, notification panel, and apps such as Gallery, Music, and Video player.

The new HarmonyOS 6 update has added semi-transparent and frosted glass effects for the user interface. It also adds a floating navigation bar at the bottom, for a more immersive on-screen content and a transparent light effect. What’s more interesting is that the users can customize the visual effects and transparency with on-board UI. It has three levels of customization – strong, balanced, and weak.
The new improvements enable subtle effects that are more pleasing to users’ eyes and meet the modern design philosophy. This update is rolling out in batches and will be available for the majority of HarmonyOS 6 devices.
